History

Our wines of Moulin-à-Vent selected for ageing in new oak barrels are selected with a strict control.

– plots of old vines facing south-east in the best climates of the appellation,

– low yield wines of great concentration matching well with the tannins of wood during ageing in new oak (6 to 8 months minimum).

During that ageing the barrel gives spicy and roasted aromas bringing great complexity to this wine.

Tasting

Intense nose evokes rosemary, nutmeg and vanilla. After a soft start, tannins brightened by a touch of oak adorn totally mouth without crushing. Well balanced with wood, this concentrated wine, with a final cherry and vanilla, will match at least five years of holiday meals.
